In the afternoon, head into Minato. Areas like Aoyama and Omotesando bring a more refined feel, known for their architecture, boutiques, and design-forward spaces. The day builds toward an omakase dining experience, where attention to detail and seasonality take center stage.

  • Begin the day in Yanaka, one of Tokyo’s few neighborhoods that still carries the feel of the old city. Walk through its quiet streets, lined with small shops, local vendors, and a slower pace of life.

From there, head to Ueno. Here, the focus shifts to everyday Tokyo food culture, with a chance to explore the area’s ramen scene before taking a break in Ueno Park, a calm green space in the middle of the city.

In the evening, make your way to Ebisu. Known for its more refined and relaxed atmosphere, it’s a great place to wind down the day, with cocktail bars and tucked-away spots that show a different side of Tokyo’s nightlife.
