In this Conrad Osaka Review, we'll share why this sleek hotel feels both futuristic and serene. Perched on the 33rd to 40th floors, it delivers sweeping views of Osaka, spacious rooms, and a dining program that celebrates the city’s rich food culture.

Is it worth staying here? For many travelers - business, couples, or even families - the answer is yes.
A Dramatic Arrival
The experience begins on the ground floor, where a smooth elevator ride rockets you to the 40th floor. Step out, and you’re met with sweeping floor-to-ceiling windows and one of the best skyline views in the city.

The high ceilings and sleek modern design give the lobby a sense of scale that’s rare in Japan, where even luxury hotels often feel compact.
Spacious Rooms That Feel Like Sky Suites
Conrad Osaka has just 164 rooms, each starting at a generous 50 square meters. High ceilings and massive windows create a floating-above-the-city effect, especially at night when the lights of Osaka spread endlessly below.

The rooms lean tech-forward - digital control panels for curtains and lights, TVs in the bathroom mirrors, and of course the ubiquitous (and reliable) Japanese smart toilet. But what stood out most was the sense of space.

Families in particular will appreciate this, with plenty of room for a crib (the staff set ours up seamlessly). Another thoughtful touch is the bathroom’s sliding doors on both sides, which seal it off completely. It’s practical for privacy and helps with noise control, whether you’re managing different schedules or traveling with a baby.

Food & Breakfast with an Osaka Twist
Food is where Conrad Osaka shines. The breakfast buffet ticks all the five-star boxes - fresh pastries, Japanese staples like miso soup, and even a carving station with prime beef.

But the highlights are the Osaka-inspired dishes, available à la carte. This includes their Okonomiyaki Benedict. It's A playful twist on the city’s iconic street food that comes a side of ginger tempura.

Beyond breakfast, Conrad Osaka offers excellent all-day dining. On our visit, standout plates included a seafood pasta loaded with lobster, scallops, and mussels, as well as a massive burger - both well executed and indulgent, especially if you’re not venturing out for lunch.

40 Sky Bar: Cocktails Above the Clouds
At night, 40 Sky Bar & Lounge becomes one of Osaka’s most stylish drinking spots. Guests mingle with locals here, sipping cocktails against the glittering skyline.

With chic interiors and soft lighting, it’s an easy place to lose track of time - a true extension of the hotel’s elevated, urban luxury.

Wellness Designed for Business Travelers
The heated indoor pool is lap-friendly rather than resort-style, making it a better fit for travelers who want an efficient workout than for families looking to splash around.

The 24-hour fitness center is modern and well-equipped - convenient for business travelers or anyone who doesn’t want to skip their routine.

Service: Polished but Personable
The service was exactly what you’d expect from a Conrad property: professional, polished, and warm. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, and especially accommodating for families (cribs, amenities, and kid-friendly adjustments were no problem).

Who Should Stay Here?
✅ Best for
Couples or solo travelers seeking a modern, design-forward hotel with panoramic views.
Business travelers who want high-end amenities and a quieter location.
Families who value spacious rooms and reliable five-star service.
❌ Not ideal for
Travelers looking for a resort-style experience with kid-centered amenities.
Those who prefer traditional or historic hotels - this is contemporary luxury, through and through.
