Discover the depth and variety of Japan’s favorite comfort food on Tokyo’s only Vegan & Vegetarian Ramen Tasting Tour. This experience is designed to show just how rich, satisfying, and expressive plant-based ramen can be - without sacrificing flavor, balance, or tradition.
The tour begins in Shibuya, where you’ll explore a vegan-friendly take on Hokkaido-style ramen, known for its bold miso base and hearty character. From there, you’ll travel to a second ramen shop near Shinjuku, specializing in Tokyo-style tsukemen (dipping ramen). A short train ride between neighborhoods is required and not included in the tour price.
Across both stops, you’ll enjoy 4 mini bowls of ramen, with the flexibility to choose vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free options depending on the bowl. Portions are intentionally smaller, allowing you to taste more styles without feeling overwhelmed.
Along the way, your guide will place each bowl in context - explaining how Hokkaido and Tokyo shaped modern ramen, and how plant-based ramen fits naturally into Japan’s broader ramen culture today.
